OUR ROOTS. In 2009, retired US Army Lieutenant General (LTG) Jack Woodmansee, was introduced to a novel form of encapsulated oxygen called Ox66®, aka "Powdered Oxygen".
After serving for 33 years, including two tours in Vietnam and over 1500 combat hours, LTG Woodmansee had seen first-hand that many deaths occurred in trauma situations not due to loss of blood, but rather due to loss of OXYGEN. After recognizing the amazing potential of Ox66® and the benefits of supplemental oxygen available in a powdered form, Hemotek LLC was established with the expressed purpose to bring products to market that carry oxygen to all living things in safe and convenient ways.
Medical research began with an initial focus to determine if Ox66® could be used as a form of blood replacement that could extend the “Golden Hour”. With extremely encouraging results, research continued looking into how Ox66® could help in other areas like Traumatic Brain Injury, respiratory aliments (Asthma, COPD, ARDS, COVID, Bronchitis, Lung Disease), blood diseases, both acute and chronic wound healing, even cancer. With millions invested from both Hemotek and independent donors, research results were peer-reviewed and approved for publication in well known scientific and medical journals, with the latest publication in 2022.
